We’ll agree for any additional balance to be paid in advance or on the day, normally £8 per person extra for numbers above 8 for walking tours. For vehicle tours we will get back to you with a specific cost for a custom vehicle thank you.

If we are your first activity of the day, the tour tends to be more fun. The truth is it only takes one person to be paralytic to ruin it for the whole group. That said, we do guide stags and hens. It works best if we pick you up straight after a hearty brunch! Also we may have to vary the pubs visited as not all welcome stags, hens or fancy dress.  Please book your date and we’ll take it from there. 

There’s no stopwatch and no rush. The tour includes around 40 minutes of walking in total. Add on to that time inside each pub for drinks, photos, stories, and soaking up the atmosphere. The pace is flexible and shaped around your group. We normally allow roughly 20 minutes to have, eg. a half pint or a small glass of wine. If you have a larger group sometimes we make arrangements with establishments in advance so service is quicker.

You’ll visit up to five unforgettable pubs, each carefully chosen for its history, character, and connection to Liverpool’s story. Between pubs you’ll see The Georgian Quarter, Cavern Quarter, China Town and the Ropewalks areas of the city!

Drinks are not included, giving you the freedom to choose what you’d like at each stop - from locally brewed real ales to classic favourites. This tour has been delivered successfully for couples, groups of 4 and 6 up to groups of 20+. With larger groups we make drinks arrangements with the pubs in advance so the flow and fun of the tour is not interrupted whilst waiting at the bar!

Absolutely. The experience is about history, culture, architecture, and storytelling just as much as it is about pubs. Non-drinkers are very welcome and will enjoy the atmosphere and insight just as much. Your guide, of course, it tea-total during the experience!

The tour can finish just minutes from The Cavern Club or at another preferred location of your choice. The experience is fully personalised and never rushed or prescribed. We will make meeting arrangements with you and if possible pick you up from your hotel/other central point. We reserve the right to vary the pubs visited/route depending on the time of day, day of the week, public events taking place in the city etc. 

A private walking tour gives you complete flexibility and a far more personal experience.

There are no strangers (unless you want to talk to locals in the pubs - they will want to talk to you, believe us!), no fixed scripts, and no pressure to keep up with a large group. You set the pace, choose the meeting point, decide when to pause for photos or a drink, and shape the rhythm of the walk.

It also means the storytelling can adapt to you — whether you’re interested in music, history, architecture, culture, or the hidden local details most visitors miss.

Yes dogs are very welcome on our tours. Liverpool is a dog-friendly city and we’re always happy to have your four-legged companion along for the walk.

Please note that some pubs or indoor establishments may have individual policies, so we may need to slightly adjust the stops on the day to ensure everyone is comfortable. The experience will still be fully enjoyable and tailored around you and your dog.
